STEPS Pathways College engages in an intensive educational curriculum that focuses on true independent living skills and community integration. Our holistic approach to learning gives students a greater understanding of themselves and the motivation to take ownership in their future.
Join us in empowering young adults with disability and autism to live independently. As a STEPS Pathways College Student Support Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in our unique live-and-learn education model — the first of its kind in Australia. Volunteers support students across a range of learning environments, helping them build confidence, life skills, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with application of everyday domestic routines under trainer guidance
Attend and support trainer run masterclasses
Provide emotional support and encourage self-regulation strategies
Support students in applying learning to everyday life
