Creeds Farm Living & Learning centre Creeds Farm Living & Learning Centre is seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to join our Board of Governance, including a dedicated Treasurer to lead our financial oversight.

We work with communities in Melbourne's high-growth suburbs of Epping North and Wollert in the City of Whittlesea. Through community programs, learning opportunities, social activities and partnerships, we create opportunities for people to connect, learn, grow and thrive.

ABOUT THE ROLES General Board Members We are seeking individuals who are passionate about strengthening their local community and can contribute skills, experience and fresh perspectives to our Board.

We welcome applicants with experience or knowledge in areas such as:

Community development Governance Human resources Information technology and digital systems Legal or compliance Marketing and communications Fundraising and partnerships Treasurer (Board Member) We are also seeking a Treasurer with finance, accounting or business experience to provide financial leadership and oversight to the organisation.

The Treasurer works closely with the Board, Centre Manager and Finance Officer and is responsible for:

Supporting strategic planning and budgeting Monitoring organisational financial performance Assisting the Board to understand financial reports and key financial risks Supporting compliance and good governance practices Chairing the Finance and Risk Sub-Committee Accounting qualifications are desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from finance professionals, accountants, bookkeepers, financial managers, business owners and others with strong financial skills.

time commitment Board Meetings: Every six weeks on a Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (no meetings in December or January) Format: Meetings are hybrid — every third meeting is held in-person at Creeds Farm (2 Snugburgh Way, Epping); others are online Preparation: Approx. 1–2 hours reading and prep before each meeting Treasurer Only: Finance and Risk sub-committee meetings every two months (2 hours) We’re located in Epping North in Victoria. We are a paperless Board in keeping with Creeds Farm’s commitment to sustainability. We use Microsoft SharePoint for Board and governance documents.
