Are you a qualified Hairdresser or Barber looking to give back to the community? We are seeking compassionate and skilled Volunteer Hairdressers to support vulnerable members of our community by providing free haircuts in a welcoming and respectful environment.

As a Volunteer Hairdresser, you will provide basic hairdressing and barbering services to our guests, with the majority of clients requiring men's haircuts, although some women's haircuts may also be requested.

If you are passionate about helping others and would like to use your hairdressing skills to support those in need, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality haircuts and basic hairdressing service to guests.

• Create a positive and welcoming experience for all clients.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic workspace.

• Treat all guests with dignity, respect, and professionalism.

• Work collaboratively with staff and other volunteers.

Skills and Experience

• Qualified Hairdresser or Barber (Certificate III or equivalent preferred).

• Previous hairdressing or barbering experience.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Friendly, patient, and non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
