Assistant Treasurer - Volunteer Board Member

The Warrane Mornington Neighbourhood Centre (WMNC) is a not-for-profit organisation governed by a volunteer board. WMNC is an independent Incorporated Association funded by the Department of Premier and Cabinet and operates within the framework of the DPAC Neighbourhood House Programme.
The WMNC Board is seeking an individual who is interested in supporting the Treasurer in the performance of their duties. This role provides an opportunity to gain experience in financial governance within a community organisation and, if interested, to potentially take on the Treasurer role in the future as part of the board’s succession planning for this key position.
The Treasurer role provides financial oversight, governance support, and strategic financial advice to help ensure the organisation’s financial sustainability, accountability, and integrity.
