We are currently seeking volunteers to assist students on location during school hours at primary schools in the Craigieburn area. No previous experience necessary, however, volunteers must be able to commit a minimum 1 hour per week for 12 months months. These roles are not suitable for people who are looking for a short-term fill-in volunteer role.
We are looking for volunteers to assist students with engagement and wellbeing through one-one mentoring and also though classroom support for students requiring additional support - particularly in the areas of Literacy and Maths.
We are seeking people who are compassionate, patient and willing to genuinely help students.
Many of our current volunteers find this program personally rewarding as they help students thrive. The impact volunteers can make on a young person’s life goes well beyond their school years. This is an opportunity to not only help, shape, and support young people and schools, it may even enrich a volunteer's life as well.
