Volunteer Bus Driver - Amaroo Village

Responsibilities

• Follow all road rules and drive safely at all times.
• Refuel the vehicle as required.
• Complete a vehicle check on return to the Amaroo workshop, return any lost property, and report any damage or issues.
• Respond to resident enquiries and refer them to an Amaroo staff member where needed.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
• Represent Amaroo professionally and in line with our Code of Conduct.

  What we’re looking for:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
• A current and valid C Class (and/or LR Class) driver’s licence.
• Demonstrated driving experience and a good driving history, including transporting community members.
• A current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Evidence of current influenza vaccination.
• Willingness to complete required online training related to aged care.
• A caring approach and willingness to support aged care residents.
• Strong commitment to safety and strict adherence to all safety guidelines and procedures.
