Event Volunteer Bar Staff (RSA Certified) – Expression of Interest

As a Volunteer Bar Staff member, you'll be at the heart of the action, helping to create a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for event patrons while supporting the successful delivery of some of North Queensland's premier events.

With shifts averaging around four hours, volunteering is a great way to contribute while still enjoying the event, volunteers are welcome to stay and enjoy the remainder of the event after their shift, and those on later shifts can often arrive early and soak up the atmosphere before getting started.

What You'll Bring • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate • A friendly, positive, and professional attitude • Strong customer service and communication skills • Reliability and punctuality • The ability to work effectively in a busy team environment • Previous bar or hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential

Key Responsibilities • Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with RSA requirements • Providing exceptional customer service to patrons • Checking identification and promoting responsible service practices • Processing cash and EFTPOS transactions (where applicable) • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented bar area • Assisting with stock replenishment and general bar operations • Supporting fellow volunteers and event staff as required
