Looking for a rewarding way to meet new people and make a genuine difference in your community? At Caladenia Dementia Care, our social programs are filled with music, laughter, games, conversation and connection — and we’re always looking for friendly volunteers to join the fun.

Whether you’re studying, semi-retired, retired or interested in gaining experience working with people living with dementia, volunteering with Caladenia is a wonderful way to be part of a supportive and welcoming community. You do not need experience or qualifications, just a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Our volunteers help by:

Bus Companion Volunteer • Welcoming and chatting with members while travelling • Assisting members on and off the bus • Helping create a warm and friendly experience.

Program Volunteer • Socialising and building connections with members • Joining in music, games, activities and group fun, providing meaningful engagement for our members • Supporting staff throughout the program • Sharing laughs, conversation and companionship • Opportunities to visit local attractions.

No personal care required. Our trained staff manage all personal care needs — volunteers simply help create a fun, social and engaging environment for our members.
