Brighten Arthur's Day - Volunteer Visitor needed in Shoreham

We are seeking a compassionate volunteer to visit Albert, a gentleman living in Shoreham who would greatly benefit from regular companionship.
Albert worked as a motor mechanic and enjoyed dancing and playing golf. These days, he enjoys simpler activities like playing cards and spending time chatting. If you are kind-hearted and comfortable engaging with someone living with dementia, we would love to hear from you. No prior experience is necessary just a kind heart and a willingness to connect.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) supports isolated and lonely people who are receiving aged care services in an aged care home or through a home care package.

The program encourages volunteers to provide friendship and companionship through regular visits, either weekly or fortnightly.
