Graphic Designer (Volunteer)

Save Our Wildlife Foundation Inc. (SOWFI) is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to support our marketing, fundraising and community engagement activities.
Every year, SOWFI volunteers rescue and assist thousands of native animals across South Australia. Effective communication is critical to raising awareness, attracting supporters, securing funding, and inspiring people to take action for wildlife.
As a volunteer Graphic Designer, you will help bring our stories to life through engaging visual content that strengthens our brand and connects our community with the important work we do.
This flexible, project-based role is ideal for an experienced designer, emerging professional, university student, or creative volunteer looking to contribute their skills to a meaningful cause.
About the role
Working closely with our Fundraising and Marketing Manager, you will create professional and visually compelling designs across a variety of platforms and campaigns.
Projects may include:
- Social media graphics and campaign assets
- Fundraising and sponsorship materials
- Flyers, brochures and promotional collateral
- Donor communications and impact reports
- Presentations and event materials
- Website graphics and digital content
- Brand templates and style guides
- Volunteer recruitment and awareness campaigns
You will also help ensure consistency across SOWFI's visual identity and contribute to strengthening our professional brand presence.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong graphic design and visual communication skills
- Experience creating content for social media and digital platforms
- Attention to detail and an eye for layout, branding and design consistency
- The ability to work independently and manage project deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Formal qualifications in graphic design are welcomed but not essential. We value creativity, practical experience and a strong portfolio.
