Marketing Officer – Corporate Partnerships (Volunteer)

Save Our Wildlife Foundation Inc. (SOWFI) is seeking a passionate and motivated volunteer to join our team as Marketing Officer – Corporate Partnerships.
As one of South Australia's most active wildlife rescue organisations, SOWFI relies on community support to rescue, rehabilitate, and protect thousands of native animals each year. With demand for our services continuing to grow, we are seeking someone who can help build meaningful partnerships with businesses, philanthropic organisations, and community leaders who share our commitment to wildlife conservation.
Working closely with our Fundraising and Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in identifying sponsorship opportunities, developing partnership proposals, and building long-term relationships that generate vital financial and in-kind support for our wildlife rescue operations.
What you'll be doing Researching and identifying prospective corporate sponsors and philanthropic partners Developing tailored sponsorship proposals and partnership presentations Meeting with businesses and community organisations to promote partnership opportunities Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing sponsors and supporters Supporting workplace giving and employee engagement programs Assisting with impact reporting and communications to demonstrate the value of partner support Working with our marketing team to promote sponsorships, partnerships and success stories Maintaining accurate records of partner engagement and sponsorship activities About you
We are looking for someone with experience or interest in one or more of the following areas:
Corporate partnerships or sponsorship Fundraising and philanthropy Marketing and communications Business development Sales, account management, or stakeholder engagement
You will be a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and can professionally represent SOWFI to potential supporters. Strong writing skills and the ability to present ideas persuasively will be highly regarded.
Most importantly, you will have a genuine passion for Australian wildlife and a desire to make a meaningful contribution to conservation and animal welfare.

Time commitment Approximately 8–10 hours per week, with flexibility around when the work is completed. Some meetings with potential sponsors and partners may be required.
