MentorShe - Marketing Co-ordinator

About Women4STEM
Women4STEM is a not-for-profit organisation, championing tech diversity. Our broader mission is to shift the dial on gender diversity in the technology sector by empowering women. We run a series of programs aimed at every stage of a woman’s career.
To achieve this, we need volunteers who can join our incredible network of existing volunteers and contribute their time to our cause. We are now on the hunt for some help in the Marketing team for our Mentoring program, mentor(SHE:).
With only 28% of women in the tech sector (compared to 44% in other industries) mentoring offers a solution to help women overcome barriers to a successful and fulfilling career.
Women4STEM’s mentor(SHE:) program supports the retention of women working in the tech sector. We want to create an accessible one on one environment to allow women to build confidence, provide networking opportunities, and facilitate professional development.
The role
The Marketing Coordinator reports into the mentor(SHE:) Program Lead and has a focus on content creation, copywriting, and communications scheduling; both socials and email marketing.
This is the perfect opportunity for professionals in Communications, Marketing or any similar degree. Volunteers will gain practical experience, build on their skillset and knowledge, connect with leaders in the STEM industry and receive a variety of perks, including discounted tickets to other Women 4 STEM events.
