The Role
The Sponsorship Lead is responsible for developing and nurturing strategic partnerships that support the sustainability and growth of Women4STEM's programs and events. Reporting to the Program Director (or relevant Executive Lead), this role works collaboratively with internal teams to identify sponsorship opportunities, manage sponsor relationships, and deliver value to partners while advancing the organisation's mission.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in business development, partnerships, sponsorship, sales, stakeholder engagement, or corporate relations who are looking to contribute their expertise to a purpose-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement sponsorship strategies aligned with Women4STEM's goals and annual program objectives. Identify and engage prospective corporate sponsors and strategic partners. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing sponsors to encourage long-term partnerships. Prepare sponsorship proposals, partnership packages, and presentation materials. Collaborate with Marketing and Program teams to ensure sponsors receive agreed visibility and recognition across events and communications. Coordinate sponsor deliverables and ensure commitments are fulfilled on time. Track sponsorship pipeline activities and maintain accurate records within CRM systems. Support reporting on sponsorship outcomes and partnership impact. Work cross-functionally with volunteers and leadership to identify new partnership opportunities and enhance sponsor value. Represent Women4STEM professionally when engaging with corporate stakeholders and community partners. Who We're Looking For Experience in sponsorship, partnerships, business development, account management, fundraising, or stakeholder engagement. Strong relationship-building and communication skills. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and written communication abilities. Ability to proactively identify opportunities and manage multiple priorities. Commercial mindset with an appreciation for purpose-driven partnerships. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Comfortable working collaboratively across volunteer teams while also operating independently. Experience with CRM platforms, Microsoft Teams, Slack, or project management tools is advantageous but not essential.
