Volunteer needed in Glenroy - Support an Italian lady with dementia.

We're seeking a volunteer to make regular visits to an Italian lady living in aged care in Glenroy.

Our recipient lives with dementia and would benefit from social connection with another lady.

No experience needed - You just need to be kind, reliable and comfortable befriending someone experiencing the ups and downs that can accompany the advanced dementia. The role may be challenging, but it will make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

Visits are flexible (typically 1-2 hours per week), and we ask for a commitment of at least 6 months.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) brings connection and companionship to older people experiencing social isolation. ACVVS is funded by the Australian Government and delivered by MS Plus.
