PCYC NSW’s Nations of Origin is a community-driven four day long sporting tournament that unites over 1000 First Nations and non-First Nations young people to celebrate culture through sports, with strong endorsement and support from Elders. The program focuses on Reconciliation, Education, Cultural Identity, and Sport.

Volunteer Roles

Join us as a Rugby League Field Set‑Up Volunteer and help bring game day to life.

As a volunteer involved in our Rugby League operations, you may assist with:

  • Setting up playing fields (field markings, pads, post protectors)
  • Assembling marquees, tents and shade structures
  • Placing signage, boundary markers, cones and flags
  • General event preparation and pack‑down
  • Supporting staff to ensure the venue is ready for matches

Other volunteer roles include

  • Uniform sales

  • BBQ sausage sizzle, food van and serving

  • General duties, ground support

Volunteers

Our volunteers are community‑minded people aged 15 years and over who enjoy hands‑on work and being part of a team. No prior experience is required, we’ll provide all the guidance and support you need to help prepare the fields for game day.

Suitable applicants will be asked to complete an application form, police background check and Working with Children Check (over 18yrs only).
