Bethania Community Centre is looking for caring, reliable, and enthusiastic volunteers to join our Youth Group Mentor team. This is an ongoing opportunity to become a trusted role model and help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where local young people can connect, learn, and thrive.
As a Youth Group Mentor, you will:
Build positive relationships with participants. Encourage involvement in group activities and discussions. Assist with games, workshops, and social events. Provide guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear. Help ensure activities are safe, respectful, and inclusive. Support staff with setup, pack-up, and general program assistance.
You don't need formal qualifications—just empathy, patience, reliability, and a genuine desire to make a difference. We value volunteers who can commit consistently, as ongoing relationships have a lasting impact on the confidence and wellbeing of our young participants.
