Reading Out of Poverty is a not-for-profit on a mission to get books into the hands of kids who need them most. We're looking for a volunteer web designer to redesign our website from the ground up.
This is a great opportunity for a designer looking to build their portfolio with meaningful, purpose-driven work and make a real difference while doing it.
What you'll do You'll lead the full redesign of our website, from concept through to a polished, functional final product that reflects our mission and engages our community. Working closely with our Fundraising Manager, you'll collaborate to achieve a clean, aesthetic and functional layout that truly represents who we are and what we do. Once finalised, our IT team will take care of applying the design to the website, so your focus is purely on the creative.
What we're looking for
- Previous web design experience (this is non-negotiable)
- A portfolio you're proud of — please include this with your application
- Someone who can work independently and take initiative
What's in it for you
- A real project to add to your portfolio
- The chance to support a cause that genuinely matters
- A reference and acknowledgement of your contribution
This is an unpaid volunteer role.
