The South Australian Road Runners Club (SARRC) is a not-for-profit organisation that has been bringing the South Australian community together through running for decades. We run events each year across the state, entirely on our volunteer community to make each one possible.
About Hills to Henley 2026
Hills to Henley is one of SARRC's flagship events. On Sunday 26 July 2026, over 1,000. It is one of the most scenic and energetic events on the South Australian running calendar.
What you will be doing
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers across a range of roles including:
- Drink Station Crew — keep runners hydrated along the course
- Finish Line Support — cheer runners across the line and assist with medals
- Bag Drop — manage runner bags at the start and finish locations
- Course Marshal — guide runners safely along the route
- Pack Up Crew — help pack down equipment after the event
- Bib Pick Up — assist runners with race number collection
Skills and experience
No experience is required for most roles. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, reliable, and enjoy being part of a community event. Some specialist roles such as traffic marshal require SAPOL accreditation — please note this in your application if you hold it.
