What You'll be Doing:

We are a very social Brigade and have 2 lawn areas which we use to socialise, for training and Cadets. We are in the process of building a Mental health break out area and have a few gardens also. We take pride in our fire station, vehicles, equipment etc.

We love our lawn areas and struggle to find the extra time to maintain these areas. We also have a bitumen carpark that collects leaves from the many trees so this needs to be blown away occasionally. We have a lawn mover, whipper snipper and blower vac.

Why This Matters

We are a a friendly bunch of Volunteers that enjoy being at the station and also helping our Community in their time of need. We would prefer to spend our time doing the main tasks of fighting fires, training and caring for our equipment and vehicles. Having someone who loves gardening and would look after ours for us would benefit all our Volunteers allowing them to spend more time with family. If you enjoy social activities you have come to the right place.

About You

You will:

• Be reasonably fit
• Have a drivers license
• Know your way around a lawnmower and other tools
  *Have a mobile phone and be open to using Whatsapp for communication with the Brigade.

Having some knowledge when it comes to gardens would be a benefit.
