Rider or not, Treasurer for the Kalamunda Mountain Bike Collective

The Kalamunda Mountain Bike Collective is a community of mountain bike riders where all are welcome and have an equal voice. People of all ages and abilities join us and enjoy the trails and our many social events. We’re also dedicated to the preservation of flora and wildlife as we respectfully ride through our unique Australian bush. We offer many volunteering opportunities, from getting outdoors to work as a group on the trails, to roles such as this Treasurer position where a rider or non-rider can use their financial skills to make a real difference to our awesome community.   Key Tasks · Prepare an annual budget/forecast and monitor it with the Committee. · Keep the club’s books up to date. Transaction volumes are very low so updating records on a monthly basis can be done easily. · Keep a proper record of all payments and monies received. · Be one of the bank authorities and monitor the bank account balances, arrange payments, etc. · Prepare simple Treasurer's Report for committee meetings (2-3 meetings a year). · Produce an annual financial report for the AGM, once a year in October.
