We’re looking for passionate volunteers to help create meaningful and joyful experiences for our residents.

🕒Join Us

When:

• Monday or Friday - 10am to 3pm (require 4 volunteers)

• Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday - 1pm to 4pm (require 3 volunteers)

Commitment:

Just once a week

Who:

Volunteers aged 18+

🎨 Activities You Might Support

• Games, puzzles and crosswords
• Arts & crafts and colouring
• Gentle exercises and walking groups
• Pet therapy (bring your pet along!)
• Bingo and singalongs
• Live performances and entertainment
• Celebrating special days (e.g. cultural events)
• One-on-one companionship

We’ll get to know you and match you with activities that suit your interests and comfort level. Whether you love chatting, crafting, or simply being a calm presence, there’s a place for you here.

We understand that everyone has different comfort levels with social interaction and sensory environments. We’ll work with you to find a role that feels right for you. We also provide a friendly orientation to help you feel confident and supported in your role.

👥 Who We’re Looking For

We welcome volunteers from all walks of life; students (18+), retirees, part-time workers, stay-at-home parents and professionals.

✅ You’ll need to

• Be kind, reliable and enjoy spending time with older people
• Commit to volunteering regularly
• Be open to police and reference checks (we’ll guide you through the process and cover any costs)
