Community Development Arts and Culture

The focus of this position is to support the operations of the City of Kwinana’s Community Art Gallery, providing quality customer service and a memorable experience. The work of a volunteer includes opening and closing the Gallery. Answering customer’s questions, and relaying information to other staff. Keeping an attendance tally. Identify safety issues and problems, takes and monitors corrective action. Engages customers in a friendly and appropriate manner. This is an unpaid position. Duties include: Open and Close the Gallery space according to procedures · Provide customer service and a welcoming environment · Work as a team to ensure comfort and safety of customers · Keep an attendance tally · Readily shares knowledge and experience · Identifies safety issues and problems, takes and monitors corrective action · Attend/complete all scheduled training sessions required for the position.
