Volunteer Church Service Leader – Brightwater Madeley

Brightwater Madeley is seeking a compassionate and reliable volunteer to facilitate a regular non-denominational church service for our residents. This much-loved service is a highlight of the week, providing comfort, reflection, spiritual connection and a sense of community for many residents. About the role

• Lead a simple, inclusive church service for residents.
• Share scripture readings, prayers, reflections or hymns.
• Create a welcoming and respectful environment for people of varying faith backgrounds.
• Encourage participation and meaningful engagement.

When The service is currently held on Wednesdays; however, we are flexible and would be happy to discuss an alternative weekday with the right volunteer.

About you

• Have a connection to a Christian faith community or experience leading worship, prayer or church services.
• Are comfortable speaking to small groups.
• Have a warm, friendly and respectful approach to older people.
• Can commit to providing a regular service, ideally on a weekly basis.
