Help brighten someone's day...do you speak Khmer & English?

Share your time and companionship during visits to an older lady living in her own home in Keysborough.

Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference in the life of this lady - reducing social isolation and improving her well-being. She speaks some English and if you speak both Khmer & English, this would be ideal as she would like to practise her English. She would enjoy spending time together doing a creative activity or short neighbourhood walks.

We ask volunteers to commit to minimum weekly/fortnightly 1hr visit for at least 6 months, however this is an ongoing role and we hope to support your friendship for as long as possible. Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.
