#Key Responsibilities

Animal Care: Assist in feeding, cleaning, and general care of animals in accordance with established protocols to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.

Habitat Maintenance: Help maintain clean and safe enclosures, ensuring habitats meet the specific needs of different species.

Enrichment: Support enrichment activities to promote natural behaviors and mental stimulation, creating an engaging environment for animals.

Health Monitoring: Observe animals closely for any signs of illness, distress, or behavioral changes and report findings to staff members.

Record Keeping: Document feeding, behaviors, and health updates to help track each animal’s well-being.

#What We're Looking For

Passion for Wildlife: A genuine interest in Australian wildlife and a commitment to animal welfare.

Reliability: A dependable volunteer with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Physically Fit: Comfortable with moderate physical activity, including lifting and bending.

Previous Animal Experience (desirable): Experience with animals is a plus, but training will be provided.

Team Player: Enjoys working collaboratively and contributing to a positive team environment.
