Appointment support volunteer in Broome

Our facility, Germanus Kent House, in Broome is seeking a friendly, caring and patient individual to support our residents in unfamiliar environments such as medical, allied health and community appointments.
You must be comfortable providing reassurance to the elderly and enjoy connecting with people through conversation. This role will involve travelling with the resident through BRAMS and providing support and reassurance before, during and after the appointment.
This role is currently only required on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Opportunities may vary from short local appointments to longer specialist visits.
