Treasurer and Management Committee Role
Financial Oversight: Reviews and approves budgets prepared by managers and monitors levy collections. Payments & Banking: Approves invoices and authorizes payment of committee expenses. Reporting: Ensures financial reports are accurate and transparent, often presenting them at annual general meetings.
Record Keeping: Maintains an asset register and ensures all financial records are available for audit.
Compliance: Ensures all financial operations adhere to relevant legislation, such as the Corporate and Management Act in QLD and Australia as our Charity expands.
