Community Mentors (for Youth)

You will engage in low-cost activities, to build trust and friendship, confidence, identify their strengths and be a person they can rely on.
Every young person needs someone to believe in them.

Training is thorough – E-learning modules, group training and fully supported by a mentoring coordinator when you are matched with a young person.

This mentoring relationship is to give a young person some respite, fun and friendship. You are not required to counsel or discipline, but to be there to guide them. Working with your availibility you will meet with the youth outside of school time.
