Digital Content Director

Bipolar Australia

Position Overview

Bipolar Australia is a national not-for-profit organisation founded in 2014 to support everyone affected by bipolar disorders, including people living with the condition, their carers, families, and the mental health professionals who care for them. Our mission is to empower everyone affected by bipolar disorders to live well and fulfil their potential. With over 600,000 Australians living with bipolar disorder, the content we put into the world carries real weight.

The Digital Content Director is a volunteer leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering Bipolar Australia’s presence on Meta platforms, primarily Facebook and Instagram, through video and graphic content that is engaging, evidence-based, and recovery-centred. This role is well suited to someone earlier in their creative or communications career who is passionate about mental health and wants to develop their skills in a meaningful context. What matters most is not a polished portfolio, but a genuine belief in the work and the curiosity to grow within it.
