Do you have a few hours to spare in the morning and enjoy connecting with others? Join us as a Morning Social Visitor Volunteer and help bring friendship, companionship and meaningful conversation to older people living in residential aged care. As a volunteer, you'll spend quality one-on-one time with residents, sharing a chat over a cup of tea, reading together, listening to music, enjoying a walk in the garden or simply providing the comfort of friendly company. Your visits can help reduce social isolation and create moments that residents genuinely look forward to. Volunteer opportunities are available weekdays between 9:30am and 12:00pm, with flexible weekly or fortnightly commitments of one hour or more. No special skills are required—just a caring nature, a friendly attitude and a willingness to spend time with others. Whether you enjoy conversation, hobbies, music, gardening or simply making someone's morning brighter, your time can make a lasting difference. If you're looking for a rewarding way to give back to your community while building meaningful connections, we'd love to hear from you.
