School Canteen Volunteer

Help Bibra Lake Primary School P&C support the ongoing operation and sustainability of the school canteen with this important volunteer role.

Volunteer assistance helps the canteen continue providing students with fresh, healthy, and affordable food options in an efficient and welcoming environment. By supporting daily canteen operations, volunteers also help strengthen the school community, reduce staffing pressures, and contribute to the long-term success and viability of the P&C canteen program.

Our school canteen is looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to join our canteen team. This is a wonderful opportunity to support the school community, meet new people, and help provide healthy food options for students in a welcoming environment. Volunteers will assist the canteen manager with food preparation and service, customer service, and maintaining a clean workspace. No experience is necessary, and support will be provided.

Key Tasks

Volunteer duties may include the following; Assisting with basic food preparation, serving students and some staff, preparing lunch orders, labelling food and drink items, washing dishes and cleaning surfaces, restocking supplies, helping to maintain a clean, safe and friendly environment and supporting the canteen manager with daily tasks.

About Bibra Lake Primary School P&C

The P&C provide valuable support in building a strong school community and raising funds to assist the school in improving outcomes for students. They are responsible for the operation of the school Canteen and Uniform Shop as services to the school community.
