New Community / Family Orientated Family Club

Lions Clubs International are the biggest community service organiastion in the world bar none, with over 1.4 million members worldwide in over 50,000 clubs in over 200 countries. Every cent that Lions Clubs raises goes back to the community on the following projects.Disaster relief, Youth Development, Environment, Community Welfare, Education, Cancer Research, Drug & Alcohol Awareness, Childhood Mobility, Sight and Hearing Health, Alzheimer’s Research, Measles Eradication, Disability Support, Global Health, Leadership Development, Youth Exchange In fact, in just about every area of need you will find Lions volunteering their time and skills to help others! Locally we lend a hand by: Supporting the local youth groups and providing scholarships, Coordinating Young Driver Education courses Helping needy families with furniture and yard works Supporting services such as community cars, Xmas hampers, local aged care homes, local Op shops and Men’s Sheds. Helping out with disaster relief - fires, floods and drought Catering for Australia Day, local Agricultural Shows, Show Car days, and at local markets Raising money through our Auctions, selling Lions Xmas cakes, obtaining funding grants, Xmas raffle and so on… All funds raised by Lions goes to those who need it - over 70% is donated back into the local community while the remainder is directed to District, State, National and International service projects. We are not-for-profit and we volunteer to serve.
