What you'll be doing:

• Community Education — Engage with visitors at events, answer questions, share marine conservation messages, and help inspire positive environmental action.

• Mascot Performance — Wear our dolphin costume to interact with children and families, pose for photos, and bring energy and fun to events.

• Event Setup and Pack-down — Assist with transporting, assembling, and dismantling education displays, marquees, and activity stations.

• BBQ Assistance — Help with basic food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and safe BBQ area.

• General Support — Provide extra hands wherever needed, including crowd engagement, merchandise support, or activity facilitation.

About you:

It's essential for all volunteers to have a pre-existing passion for marine life.

• Friendly, confident communicator who enjoys engaging with the public
• Comfortable working as part of a team in busy event environments
• Physically able to assist with light lifting and event setup
• Willing to wear mascot costume/s
• Passionate about marine conservation and community education.
