Ageing with Grace – Make a Difference to an Older Person's Life

Ageing with Grace is seeking caring and reliable volunteers to provide friendship and companionship to older people experiencing social isolation through the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS).
Many older Australians have limited opportunities for social connection due to mobility issues, health challenges, relocation into aged care, or the loss of family and friends. A regular visit from a volunteer can make a profound difference to their wellbeing, confidence, and quality of life.
No special qualifications are required. We simply ask that you bring kindness, patience, reliability, and a genuine interest in getting to know another person.
We currently have a number of older people waiting for a volunteer visitor.
