Do you speak Greek and enjoy connecting with others? Your time and companionship could make a world of difference to an older person in your community. We are seeking Greek-speaking volunteers to join the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) and provide friendship to older people who may feel isolated or miss speaking their native language. For many older Greek Australians, speaking their first language brings comfort, connection, and a sense of home. Your visits can spark memories, laughter, and create moments they truly look forward to.
As an Aged Care Volunteer Visitor, you bring companionship, warmth, and a genuine connection to someone who needs it most.
The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) connects volunteers with older people experiencing loneliness in aged care or at home. Regular fortnightly visits to bringing friendship, connection, and something to look forward to. Interested in making a difference? Apply online or contact Robyn on 0427 487 018
