About the Role
As a Volunteer Companion, you'll build meaningful one-on-one relationships with residents, offering companionship, emotional support, and social interaction. Whether you're enjoying a chat over a cup of tea, playing a game, or taking a gentle walk together, your time and kindness can bring comfort, joy, and a greater sense of belonging.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide companionship through regular visits
• Engage residents in conversation and active listening
• Participate in simple activities such as reading, playing games, or going for short walks
