Volunteer Visitor – Community Connection
We are looking for a kind, reliable and friendly volunteer to visit Radovan, a lovely older gentleman who would appreciate some extra company and conversation.
Visits can be as simple as watching TV together, chatting over a cup of tea, or reading the Serbian news together. Radovan speaks both English and Serbian, so speaking Serbian would be a wonderful bonus, but it is not essential.
You don’t need any special qualifications or skills—just some time to spare, a warm personality and a genuine interest in connecting with someone in your community.
A weekly or fortnightly visit can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life and provide an opportunity to build a positive, mutually beneficial friendship.

- Training to help you feel confident in your volunteer role

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing to undergo a National Police Check
- Reliable and committed to regular visits
- Friendly, respectful and compassionate
