Lifestyle Markets Australia Inc. (LMA) is a registered charity and not-for-profit bringing communities together through multicultural markets, festivals, and events across Victoria.
Proceeds from our events support Kinds of Happiness (KOH), a charity helping disadvantaged youth in regional and rural Australia through mentoring, farming programs, and skills development.
We are looking for a motivated volunteer to lead our Events Organisational Assistance (EOA) team, supporting the smooth planning and delivery of LMA's calendar of events.
About the Role
As EOA Team Leader, you will guide a small team of volunteers who provide organisational and administrative support across our events program. This role is fully remote, with flexible hours to suit your schedule.
What You Will Do
- Lead, support, and coordinate a team of Events Organisational Assistance volunteers
- Attend regular team meetings, held remotely, to stay aligned on priorities and progress
- Oversee the planning and administrative tasks that keep our events running smoothly
- Be a point of contact for your team, providing guidance and resolving day-to-day queries
- Liaise with other other department team members to align on priorities and timelines
- Help onboard new team members and support their development in the role
- Contribute ideas to improve how the EOA team operates
About You
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Confident communicator, comfortable supporting and guiding others
- Experience in events, administration, or team coordination (paid or volunteer) is a plus
- Able to work independently and reliably from home
- Passionate about community, multiculturalism, and supporting youth in regional Australia
