What You'll Be Doing:

There are many roles for volunteering at BREC including:

  • Usher – Welcome patrons and assist them in finding their correct, ticketed seats. Ushers are essential to creating a smooth and enjoyable experience for our audiences.
  • Doorkeeper – Manage the entry and exit points of the auditorium by scanning tickets, monitoring doors during performances, and assisting patrons as needed with directions or general enquiries.
  • Bar Attendant – Serve and sell alcoholic beverages to patrons before shows and during intervals. An RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate is required for this role. Volunteers in this area contribute to creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Café Assistant– Help prepare and serve café snacks, tea, coffee, and other light refreshments. A great role for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers who enjoy customer service and working in a fast-paced environment.
