Aged Care Volunteer needed for a Lady who speaks English and Maltese

Love Bingo and community events? Nancy would love to meet you! We are looking for a caring individual to spend some quality time with Nancy, a wonderful lady who loves to socialise! She is looking for a volunteer companion to join her for a game of Bingo and to attend vibrant Maltese social functions together! If you are friendly, reliable, and love staying active in the community, you could make a world of difference in Nancy's life.

All volunteers are required to be 18 years of age or older, to undergo a National Police Check and can expect ongoing support and training from their ACVVS Program Coordinator.

Commitment

Regular - less than 6 months

Training

Training is provided online in addition to ongoing support from your local Volunteer Program Coordinator

Time required

Volunteers are required to visit once per fortnight (although we prefer weekly where possible), duration of visit is up to you. We require a commitment of minimum 6 months to 12 months.

Requirements

Stat Dec if lived overseas past the age of 16 years for 12 months or more. National Police Check or WWVP. 18 years or older. Two referee checks conducted by Ageing with Grace.
