3Bridges' Early Year Support Service is an early intervention service which focuses on providing support and critical connections for mothers Location: (Sutherland Shire, Bayside & Georges River) Days: Monday to Friday, 2 - 4 hour’s weekly mornings or afternoons

3Bridges’ Early Year Support Service is seeking Volunteer Home Visitors to visit mums pre and post birth and supporting them emotionally and practically.

Having a child changes your life forever. Our Early Years Support team of trained volunteer home visitors, work alongside isolated and vulnerable mums who lack support.

  • Could you offer a weekly 2-4 hour visit to support a family with a new baby?
  • Could you encourage a mum and help increase her confidence and parenting skills?
  • We are seeking volunteer home visitors for (Sutherland Shire, Bayside & Georges River)
  • The suitable volunteer will have the following attributes:
  • Parents, Grandparents or have experience working in the community sector.
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Be reliable and able to commit to at least 6 months

Requirements

  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Driver's Licence and Car
  • Attend 1-day compulsory training

Training: Training and induction will be provided. Volunteer home visitors for (Sutherland Shire, Bayside & Georges River) area must attend 1-day training (compulsory) FREE training
