Grants and Sponsorship Coordinator - Remote

Lifestyle Markets Australia Inc. (LMA) is a registered charity and not-for-profit bringing communities together through family-focused fundraisers, markets and events across Victoria. Every dollar we raise supports Kinds of Happiness (KOH), a charity empowering disadvantaged youth in regional and rural Australia through mentoring, farming programs, and skills development.
We are looking for a Grants and Sponsorship Coordinator to help us identify and secure the funding and partnerships that keep our markets, events, and youth programs running. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves research and writing, enjoys building relationships, and wants to see the direct impact of their work on young lives in regional Australia.
What you will be doing
- Researching grant, funding, and sponsorship opportunities suited to LMA's events and KOH's youth programs
- Writing and submitting grant applications and sponsorship proposals
- Keeping a grants and sponsorship calendar up to date, tracking deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements
- Building relationships with funding bodies, corporate sponsors, local businesses, and community partners
- Working with the Director and other teams to gather the information needed for applications
- Developing sponsorship packages for prospective partners
- Sourcing in-kind sponsorship, donated goods, or services for our markets and events
- Keeping accurate records of applications, outcomes, and funding agreements
- Providing regular pipeline updates to the Director
What you will bring
- Strong written communication skills and confidence with grant or persuasive writing
- Great attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to research funding and sponsorship opportunities relevant to the charity sector
- Comfort liaising with external stakeholders and corporate sponsors
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage your own deadlines
