Orientation and on the job training is provided.

Time required

Volunteering hours available for this role are Wednesdays from 9:00am - 12:00pm. On the fourth Wednesday of each month, hours are extended to 9:00am–3:00pm.

Security checks required for the position are supplied and paid for by Wesley Mission Queensland. This includes an NDIS Worker Screening Card. If you have ever been a citizen or a permanent resident of a country other than Australia since turning 16 years old you will be required to complete a Statutory Declaration. All applicants will be required to complete an online registration form which will be forwarded to them when their expression of interest is lodged with us. To be in this role you will be required to follow a COVID-19 safe work plan and provide proof you have received a minimum of one primary COVID-19 vaccination prior to commencement. Personal Protective Equipment may also be required.
