Guide Dogs Open Day 2026

We need your help! We are looking for a large team of volunteers to assist at our 2026 Open Day.

This event is a chance for members of the public to visit and enjoy a day at our beautiful Bald Hills campus, all whilst learning about our services and the different ways to get involved with our organization.

Event Details:

• 📅 Date: Saturday, 18th July 2026
• 🕰️Times: volunteers will be required for shifts between 7AM - 3:30PM
• 📍Location: Guide Dogs Queensland (1978 Gympie Rd, Bald Hills QLD 4036)
• ✨The Role: Volunteers on this day can expect to assist with a variety of tasks – from traffic marshalling, info stalls, catering assistance, or raffle or merchandise sales, there is something for everyone!

Requirements:

• ⭐ Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• ⭐ Volunteers must be comfortable speaking to members of the public
• ⭐ Early morning and afternoon volunteers may be asked to assist with set up/pack down, which involves light physical tasks
