Speak Italian? Bring Friendship to Ladies in Aged Care 💛(Avondale Heights)

We have two lovely older Italian females living in an Aged Care Home who would love to have a chat. They love classical, opera and Italian music.

Do you have a spare hour or so per week/fortnight to spend time with these ladies? Volunteer visits are flexible to work around your schedule.

About you We are looking for caring individuals who can sit and have a chat, reminisce and talk about topics of interest with elderly people.

Our Volunteer Coordinators will spend time with you to understand your interests and background, and work to match you with a client in a suburb nearby who shares similar interests.

Your impact: Volunteering as a visitor is a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits on a fortnightly basis for a minimum of 6 months are required. Visits from volunteers help improve the quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy and happiness to the recipient you are matched with.
