About the Role

As our Volunteer Events Coordinator, you'll play an important role in ensuring our events run smoothly—from planning and registrations through to event delivery and follow-up. The role averages around 4 hours per week, with flexible hours that include attendance at approximately two events each month, some of which may occur on evenings or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

You'll assist with:

  • Coordinating approximately two Fun Farm events each month.
  • Preparing and managing registrations through Humanitix.
  • Creating and maintaining event information within NocoDB.
  • Updating participant attendance and records following each event.
  • Communicating with participants and families regarding registrations and enquiries.
  • Liaising with volunteers, venues and suppliers.
  • Assisting with event setup, coordination and pack down.
  • Ensuring participant information is accurate and up to date.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve future events and participant experiences.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised and reliable.
  • Friendly, approachable and enjoys working with people.
  • An excellent communicator.
  • Comfortable using computers and willing to learn new systems.
  • Able to work independently while contributing to a supportive team.
  • Passionate about inclusion and creating opportunities for people living with disability.

Desirable Skills

While not essential, experience in any of the following would be an advantage:

  • Event coordination.
  • Administration or customer service.
  • Humanitix or similar event management platforms.
  • Databases or CRM systems (such as NocoDB).
  • Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Current driver's licence.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
