ASCCA (the Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association) is seeking a Chair of the Board to steward our national peak body into its next era of professional maturity.

At ASCCA, we believe digital independence is the cornerstone of a healthy society. For 25 years, we have ensured that seniors remain active, independent contributors to our digital world—not just passive recipients of support.

The Opportunity: Legacy through Impact This is a unique invitation for a seasoned leader to apply their career’s worth of experience to a profound social cause. We are looking for a steward to guide us through a strategic evolution:

Phase 1: The Foundation– Initially hands-on, stabilising operations and leading our talented volunteers.

Phase 2: The Build – Securing the funding and partnerships needed to appoint a full executive team.

Phase 3: The Governance – Transitioning to traditional strategic oversight and mentoring the new leadership.

Who are we looking for?

A "Seasoned Builder" with a background in business growth or organisational turnaround.

An expert in ACNC Governance Standards and the Corporations Act.

A calm influencer who leads with patience, gravitas, and an inclusive spirit.
