Volunteer - Storeperson - Vinnies Pialba

As a volunteer storeperson, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the shop by assisting floor stock management.

• Assisting with stock organisation in the storeroom
• Supporting the retail team by preparing items for the shop floor
• Moving and rearranging furniture within the store
• Moving stock off the floor ready for driver collection
• Maintaining a tidy, safe and organised sorting area while following safe work practices

This role would suit someone practical and reliable who enjoys staying active and helping the community.

• Be physically capable of lifting and moving furniture safely

• Be reliable and enjoy working as part of a team or independently if required

• Be comfortable with hands-on tasks and working in a storeroom environment

• Have a positive and flexible attitude

• Be respectful and supportive of others

• Be willing to work within the ethos and values of the St Vincent de Paul Society QLD

• Assisting with keeping the work area safe and organised
