Drive with Purpose

Use your driving skills to help Victoria Police Legacy deliver practical support to police legatees and the families of Victoria Police members who have passed away. Every journey helps ensure people and essential items get where they're needed.

In this role you will:

Transport people, donations and supplies across metropolitan Melbourne and occasionally regional Victoria.
Complete courier and delivery tasks to support Victoria Police Legacy programs and services.
Represent Victoria Police Legacy with professionalism while engaging respectfully with legatees and the community.

Training

Induction will be provided by Volunteer Coordinator Victoria Police Legacy

Time required

This role requires up to 2-4 hours per fortnight and can include travel within metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Requirements

Driver's Licence (C)
Driver's Licence (LR)
National Police Certificate
Working with Children Check

A current Victorian Drivers Licence along with a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required. A Light Rigid endorsement is desirable but not a necessity. A National Police Check is also needed for this role. Established written and verbal communication skills and a positive outlook will see a positive volunteer experience.
