Now in its 7th year, Meanjin Reggae Festival (MRF) is Brisbane's #1 reggae festival, showcasing sound system culture, live music, discussion, food & markets in a free and family-friendly environment. Held at the beautiful Musgrave Park in South Brisbane.
The event continues to grow each year, and we need YOU to help take it to the next level! No experience is necessary, in fact we encourage first time volunteers to join us. Part of Champion Sound's mission is to help people develop skills and experience within the creative industries, and as a first time volunteer you will be supported to support us! People with prior events experience are also encouraged to apply.
Duties include setting up & packing down, putting up marquees, liaising with stages and crew, directing traffic flow, assisting public find what they need, keeping facilities in order, assisting Elders and other special guests, dancing & having fun.
On event day, we have a opening shift - 7am to 2pm - and a closing shift - 1pm to 8pm. Please let us know your preferred shift. To find out more, get in touch!
